How Aster Medicity Hospital in Ernakulam (Kochi) managed water flooding and patient evacuation during the recent 2018 Kerala Floods

This is how the Aster medicity management tackled the situation.

On receiving news of the possibility  Idukki dam shutter opening, in mid July 2018, the foresight of the Hospital admin got kindled,they immediately met,

a) Engineering division was asked to observe round the clock, the flow of River Periyar between Cheranalloor and Kothadu 

b) They submitted application in writing with many other big Hospitals to accommodate patients on an emergency basis on war footing 

c) On the day of the first shutter of Idukki dam being opened, an additional diesel generator and a water pumping motor were procured and installed 

d) Drinking water and diesel were stored much more than needed 

e) Arrangement was made to observe water level of the River Periyar flowing nearby , every hour 

f) On 15th August 2018 morning onward , it was observed that water level is rising with alarming speed 

g) Around evening of 15/08/18 , it was confirmed that the other distant Hospitals with whom correspondence was initiated on 01/08/18, that they have enough intensive care units , wards and facilities to accommodate Aster's patients ( 348 persons including 110 ones who were in extremely critical health condition )

h) Ambulance service with ventilator facility was arranged to evacuate the patients , Air ambulance too was arranged 

i ) All senior staff and other personnel were instructed to stay at the Hospital on 15th August night and on 16th August 

j) The news of opening all shutters at all dams , made observation of water level for every 15 minutes 

k) It was arranged to devise graph of water level of the river from midnight of 15/08/18 

l) Orange alert was declared at Hospital at 5 AM on 16/08/18 

m) It was arranged that within 15 minutes, Intensive Care patients to be evacuated 

n) At 7 AM on 16/08/18, entire leadership met for a final round before starting the operation , chaired by the Chief Operative Officer 

o) Trial run were done by dummy vehicles to and fro , the distant Hospitals with whom , the temporary evacuee system was arrived at, since 15/08/18 , to check and ascertain the road safety etc 

p) Shot cut routes were discovered to reach destination in shorter time 

q) The operation started with neo natal I.C.U ones, the new born and their Mothers 

r) Patients with ventilator support followed 

s) Each convoy had a medical doctor and nurses 

t) The ambulance service started at 8.30 AM on 16/08/18, at that time not even a bucket of water of River Periyar  was in the premises 

u) The last patient shifted safely around 11 PM, 16/08/18, followed by buses full of Hospital staff, nursing orderlies, para medical staff etc , it was around midnight that water entered the underground bunkers, electric controls destroyed and power cut off.

The Entire Hospital was successfully evacuated before the water gushed into the premises and bunkers.

അതിനുള്ള വഴിയാണ് "നാഷനല്‍ ടാലന്റ് സര്‍ച്ച് എക്‌സാമിനേഷൻ" അഥവാ എന്‍.ടി.എസ്.ഇ. (NTSE). സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തിലും ദേശീയ തലത്തിലുമായി നടത്തുന്ന രണ്ട് പരീക്ഷകളാണിത്. കഴിവും ശേഷിയുമുള്ള കുട്ടികള്‍ പഠനം തുടരുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താന്‍ 1969 മുതല്‍ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത് ഈ പരീക്ഷ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. 

ആര്‍ക്കൊക്കെ ഈ പരീക്ഷ എഴുതാം?

ഒമ്പതാം ക്ലാസില്‍ 60 ശതമാനമെങ്കിലും (സംവരണ വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 55%) മാര്‍ക്ക് ലഭിക്കുകയും ഈ വര്‍ഷം പത്താം ക്ലാസില്‍ പഠിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കും ഈ പരീക്ഷക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. 

എപ്പോഴാണ് ഈ പരീക്ഷ?

സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തില്‍ അടുത്ത നവംബറിലും ദേശീയ തലത്തില്‍ 2019 മെയ് മാസത്തിലുമാണ് ഇനി പരീക്ഷയുള്ളത്. സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ രണ്ടാം വാരത്തിലെങ്കിലും അപേക്ഷിക്കണം. എന്‍.സി.ഇ.ആര്‍.ടിയാണ് പരീക്ഷ നടത്തുന്നത്. 

NTSE യുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പരിശീലനങ്ങള്‍ക്കോ ബോധവത്കരണത്തിനോ മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ വലിയ പരിഗണന നല്‍കാറില്ല. വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നരായ രക്ഷിതാക്കള്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങള്‍  ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നത്. NTSE പരിശീലനം നല്‍കുന്ന മലപ്പുറം പരിസരത്തെ ഒരു കേന്ദ്രമാണ് കോഡൂരിലെ ICET PUBLIC SCHOOL.

1910 ൽ കൊച്ചിയിൽ 23000 ആളെ ആകെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.

പത്മ ജങ്ഷൻ പുഞ്ച പാടമായിരുന്നു.

ബാനർജി റോഡു മുതൽ പാലാരിവട്ടം വരെ തോടായിരുന്നു.

ലുലു മാൾ ഉള്ള ഇടപ്പളി കുറുക്കൻ മാർ നിറഞ്ഞ കാടായിരുന്നു ..

അതിന്റെ സൈഡിലെ ഓവുചാൽ... കനാൽ ആയിരുന്നു തൃക്കാക്കാര അമ്പലത്തിലേക്ക് വള്ള സദ്യ നടത്തിയതും രാജാവ് എഴുനെള്ളിയിരുന്നതും ഇതിലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

ആദ്യകാലത്ത് KSRTC Bus Stand ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ Boat Jetty ആയിരുന്നു.

ഏറണാകുളത്തെ ആദ്യത്തെ ഉയരം കൂടിയ (കേരളത്തിലെ ) ബഹുനില കെട്ടിടം Hotel Sealord ആയിരുന്നു.

പെൻറാ മേനക ഒരു കാലത്ത് തിരക്കേറിയ സിനിമാ തീയേറ്ററായിരുന്നു. സിനിമ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് കോളാമ്പി പാട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നീലക്കുഴിൽ , ഒരാൾ കൂടി കള്ളനായി - ഈ സിനിമകൾ ഇവിടെയാണ് റിലീസ് ചെയ്തത്. ഹിറ്റായ " ഭാര്യ " പത്മയിലും . പാലാട്ട് കോമൻ , റെബേക്ക ഇവിടെ റിലീസ് ചെയ്തു

ഇന്നത്തെ വൈറ്റില ജംഗ്ഷൻ 1972 ൽ പോലും ആരോരുമറിയാത്ത കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമമായിരുന്നു. പൂണിത്തുറ വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസ് ഈ കവലിയിലായിരുന്നു. 

കടവന്ത്രയിൽ റോഡിനിരുവശവും പൊക്കാളി കൃഷി നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.

1972 ൽ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ KSRTC Bus stand സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥലം വിജനമായിരുന്നു.

MG Road സ്ഥാപിച്ചത് സഹോദരൻ അയ്യപ്പൻ പൊതുമരാമത്ത് മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നപ്പോഴാണ്. അത്രയും വലിയ റോഡ് പണിതപ്പോൾ അയ്യപ്പന്റെ പേരിൽ ആരോപണം ഉയർന്നു , അയ്യപ്പന്റെ മറുപടി " എന്നും കൊച്ചി കൊച്ചു കൊച്ചിയായിരിക്കില്ല '" .

MG Road മൊത്തം നിലമായിരുന്നു. രവിപുരത്തെ Mercy Estate 1952 വിറ്റത് Rs 500/- .

പുത്തൻകുരിശ് - എറണാകുളം ദൂരം 20 km . 1972 ൽ പുത്തൻകുരിശിൽ നിന്നും എറണാകുളം St. Albert ' s college വരെ എത്താൻ KSRTC Bus എടുത്ത സമയം 30 മിനിട്ട് . ഇന്ന് ഒന്നര മണിക്കൂർ മിനിമം വേണം.

South , North ഓവർ ബ്രിഡ്ജ് കളില്ലാതിരുന്ന ഒരു കാലമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു . ട്രെയിൻ കടന്നു പോകുന്നതു വരെ വാഹനങ്ങൾ കാത്ത് നില്ക്കും .

Broadway തുടക്കത്തിൽഒരു വലിയ സംഭവമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഇന്നത് ചീള് കേസ് ! Narrow ആയി മാറി .( Broadway യിലെ Bharath Hotel ൽ പഴയ Broadway യുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് )

1960 കളിൽ എറണാകുളത്തെ Roadകൾ ആൾ വലിക്കുന്ന റിക്ഷാ വണ്ടികൾ കൊണ്ട് നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. പിന്നീടത് സൈക്കിൾ റിക്ഷക്കും , തുടർന്ന് ഓട്ടോ റിക്ഷക്കും വഴി മാറി .

പഴയ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ഹൈക്കോടതിക്ക് പിന്നിലായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ Goods station .

ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ Law College കൊച്ചി രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ നിയമസഭയായിരുന്നു. 

മഹാരാജാസ് കോളേജിനു സമീപത്തെ കണയന്നൂർ താലൂക്കാഫീസായിരുന്നു , ആദ്യകാല എറണാകുളം ജില്ല കലകട്രേറ്റ്.

AD ഒന്നാം ശതകത്തിൽ തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറ് യിരുന്നു. ( ടോളമിയുടെ ഭൂപടം) .

കൊച്ചി രാജ്യത്തെ തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ, ചന്ദ്ര ഗുപ്തന്റെ കാലത്തെ ഗ്രീക്ക് സ്ഥാനപതിയായിരുന്ന മെഗസ്തിനീസ് എഴുതിയ ഇൻഡിക് എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിൽ പരാമർശിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്

ക്രിസ്തുവിന് മുൻപ് കൊച്ചി തുറമുഖം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നും അത് പിന്നീട് കടലിൽ നിന്ന് ഉയർന്നു വന്നതാണ് എന്നതിനു തെളിവുകൾ ഉണ്ട്

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മത്സ്യ കൃഷിയ്ക്ക് ഊർജ്ജം പകരാൻ പുത്തൻ പദ്ധതികളും ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങളുമായി സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐയും ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പും. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആഭ്യന്തര മത്സ്യോൽപാദനം വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് പദ്ധതിയുമായി കേന്ദ്ര സമുദ്രമത്സ്യ ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനം (സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐ). മത്സ്യകർഷകരുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തിൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 500 കൂടുമത്സ്യ കൃഷി യൂണിറ്റുകൾ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിനുള്ള പദ്ധതിയാണ് ഇതിൽ ആദ്യത്തേത്.

കേന്ദ്ര കാർഷിക മന്ത്രാലയ ഏജൻസിയായ നാഷണൽ ഫിഷറീസ് ഡെവലപ്‌മെന്റ് ബോർഡിന്റെ (എൻഎഫ്ഡിബി / NFDB) സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് 15 കോടി രൂപയുടെ പദ്ധതിയിൽ കൃഷി ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിന് സാങ്കേതിക സഹായവും സബ്‌സിഡിയും നൽകും. ഒറ്റയ്‌ക്കും സംഘമായുമുള്ള കൂടുകൃഷിയുടെ മുതൽമുടക്കിന്റെ 40 ശതമാനമാണ് സബ്‌സിഡി നൽകുക. സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും എസ്എസി-എസ്ടി വിഭാഗക്കാർക്കും 60 ശതമാനം സബ്‌സിഡി നൽകും.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ തീരദേശ ജില്ലകളിലാണ് കൂടുമത്സ്യ കൃഷി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്. നാല് മീറ്റർ വീതിയും നീളവും മൂന്ന് മീറ്റർ ആഴവുമുള്ള കൂടുകളിലാണ് കൃഷി. കാളാഞ്ചി, കരിമീൻ, മോത, വറ്റ, ചെമ്പല്ലി തുടങ്ങിയ മത്സ്യങ്ങളാണ് കൃഷി ചെയ്യുക.വേലിയിറക്ക സമയത്ത് മൂന്ന് മീറ്ററെങ്കിലും താഴ്‌ചയുള്ള ജലാശയങ്ങളിൽ കൃഷിയിറക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നവരാണ് അപേക്ഷ നൽകേണ്ടത്. സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐയുടെ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള കൃഷി രീതിയാണ് അവലംബിക്കേണ്ടത്.

കൂടുമത്സ്യ കർഷകരെ സഹായിക്കുന്നതിനായി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് മൂന്നിടങ്ങളിൽ അക്വാവൺ ലാബുകളും തുടങ്ങും. ജലഗുണനിലവാര പരിശോധന, രോഗനിർണയം തുടങ്ങിയ സേവനങ്ങളാണ് അക്വാവൺ ലാബിൽ നിന്ന് കർഷകർക്ക് ലഭിക്കുക. ലാബുകൾ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിന് യോഗ്യരായവർക്ക് മുതൽ മുടക്കിന്റെ 50 ശതമാനം പദ്ധതിയിൽ നിന്ന് സബ്‌സിഡിയായി ലഭിക്കും. ലാബ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിവരങ്ങൾ സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐ വെബ്‌സൈറ്റിൽ ലഭ്യമാണ് (cmfri.org.in).

കൂടാതെ, ഒരു ചെറുകിട മത്സ്യത്തീറ്റ ഉൽപാദന കേന്ദ്രം സ്ഥാപിക്കാനും പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്. കേന്ദ്രം സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ താൽപര്യമുള്ളവർക്ക് അമ്പത് ശതമാനം സബ്‌സിഡി നൽകും.തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്ക് സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐ പരിശീലനം നൽകും. കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾക്ക് സിഎംഎഫ്ആർഐ മാരികൾച്ചർ വിഭാഗവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുക.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ മത്സ്യസമ്പത്തു കൂട്ടാൻ പുതുവഴികളുമായി ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പും സജീവമായി രംഗത്തുണ്ട്. കടലിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടിൽ മത്സ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥ രൂപീകരിക്കാൻ ഉതകുന്ന കൃത്രിമ പാരുകൾ ആഴക്കടലിൽ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നത് ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ആധുനിക സംവിധാനങ്ങളാണ് ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.

ജില്ലകളിലെ മത്സ്യ തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ വരുമാനം ഉയർത്തുന്നതിനായി ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് നടപ്പാക്കിയ ഉൾനാടൻ മത്സ്യലഭ്യതാ വ്യാപനപദ്ധതിയും വിജയപാതയിലാണ്. പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട പുഴകളുടെ കടവുകളിൽ മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്ന ഈ പദ്ധതി ഫിഷറീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെയും തദ്ദേശസ്ഥാപനപ്രതിനിധികളുടെയും നാട്ടുകാരുടെയും സഹകരണത്തോടെ ജനകീയമായാണ് നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന മത്സ്യ ഉൽപ്പാദന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ആരോഗ്യമുള്ള മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞങ്ങളേയും ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് മത്സ്യ കൃഷിക്കാർക്കായി ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നു. ആധുനിക രീതിയിൽ ആയിരംതെങ്ങിൽ നിർമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഹാർച്ചറിയിൽ മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ ഉൽപ്പാദനത്തിനൊപ്പം ഓരുമത്സ്യക്കൃഷിയും നടക്കുന്നു. 36 ഏക്കറോളം വരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഹാർച്ചറി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.

കരിമീൻ, പൂമീൻ, തിരുത, കണമ്പ്, ഞണ്ട്, കൊഞ്ച് എന്നിവയും മറൈൻ ഫിഷ് ഇനത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട പൊമ്പാ നോ, സീബാസ്, കോമ്പിയ എന്നിവയും മത്സ്യ ഉൽപ്പാദനകേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ വഴി വളർത്തി വിപണിയിലെത്തിക്കുന്നു. കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിൽ തേവള്ളി, കുളത്തൂപ്പുഴ, ശാസ്താംകോട്ട എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും ഹാർച്ചറികൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. മത്സ്യലഭ്യത ഇരട്ടിയാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോറെ പന്ത്രണ്ടരക്കോടി മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പൊതുജലാശയങ്ങളിൽ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്ന പദ്ധതിക്കും സർക്കാർ രൂപം നൽകിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. കർഷകർക്ക് സബ്സിഡി, ബാങ്ക് ലോൺ, വിത്ത്, തീറ്റ എന്നിവയും ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിലും ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്.

മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി കൂട് മത്സ്യക്കൃഷി നടത്തുന്ന പദ്ധതിയും പരീക്ഷണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മത്സ്യക്കൃഷി വൻതോതിൽ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നതും സർക്കാർ ആലോചിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അഴീക്കൽ ഹാർബറിനു സമീപം മത്സ്യത്തീറ്റ ഫാക്ടറി യാഥാർഥ്യമാക്കാൻ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു. മത്സ്യകർഷക ഏജൻസി, എഫ്എഫ്ഡിഎ, അഡാക്ക്, തദ്ദേശസ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ കർഷകർക്കായി ശാസ്ത്രീയ മത്സ്യക്കൃകൃഷിയിൽ പരിശീലനവും നൽകും. ഇതിനായി ആധുനിക ട്രെയ‌്നിങ‌് സെന്ററാണ് ആയിരംതെങ്ങ് ഫിഷ് ഫാമിനോടു ചേർന്ന് തയ്യാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ആലുവയിലെ കടുങ്ങല്ലൂരിലും പരിശീലനകേന്ദ്രം സജീവമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

My Dad always *sounds* it in my ears "Simi, you must be *tough.* Being *girlish* and being *ladylike* is not an excuse for *weakness".* This he still says to all of us.

All the children were *raised* to do the *"masculine"* as well as the *"feminine"* tasks.

My sisters and I started *winding* a 15KVA generator as soon as we got one. I *learnt* how to wash a *car* (internal and external) before the *age of 16*.

I started *learning driving* immediately after *secondary* school. My Dad told me that before he allows me drive out *independently,* that I must learn to change *car tyres.*

I remember I was forming *ajebutter* and my Dad said to me "If you are *driving* on a lonely *highway* and you need to change your *tyre*, what would you do? You will have to get down and change it.... that's the *common sense* thing to do. It's a *survival skill* for drivers.

*My brother?*

He started *washing* the dishes as soon as he could reach the sink and *handle* the dishes. 

He started cooking *simple meals* before the *age of 10.* He started *washing* his socks and under wears before the *age of 7.*

രണ്ട് ടീസ്‌പൂണ്‍ ശുദ്ധമായ തേൻ ഒരു കപ്പ് വെള്ളത്തില്‍കലക്കി കുപ്പിയിൽ ഒഴിച്ച് അടപ്പ് നന്നായി മുറുക്കി അടച്ച് കറുത്ത തുണികൊണ്ട് മൂടി അധികം ചൂടോ പ്രകാശമോ പതിക്കാത്തിടത്ത് രണ്ടാഴ്ച വെച്ചാൽ അത് നല്ലൊരു റൂട്ട് ഹോർമോണായി മാറും .തയാറാക്കിയ ഈ മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ കിളിർപ്പിക്കുവാനുള്ള കമ്പോ വള്ളിയോ 20 -30 മിനിറ്റ് ഇട്ടു വെക്കാം അതിനുശേഷം മാറ്റി നടാം. (തേൻ നേരിട്ട് കമ്പിൽ പുരട്ടിയും നടും)

( 2) കരിക്കിന്‍ വെള്ളം -പച്ചച്ചാണകം :- 

ഒരു ഗ്ളാസ് കരിക്കിന്‍ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ അഞ്ച് ടീസ്‌പൂണ്‍ പച്ചചാണകം കലക്കിവെച്ച് തെളിനീർ ഊറ്റിയെടുത്തത് അതിൽ നടാനുള്ള കമ്പോ വള്ളിയോ 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് മുക്കിവെച്ച ശേഷം മാറ്റി നടാം. 

(3 )മുരിങ്ങ ഇല സത്ത് :-

അമ്പത് ഗ്രാം മുരിങ്ങയില ഇരുന്നൂറ് മില്ലി വെള്ളത്തില്‍ തലേദിവസം കുതിര്‍ക്കണം . പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്തോ അരച്ചെടുേത്താ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന മുരിങ്ങാച്ചാറില്‍ കമ്പിന്റെ അഗ്രം 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് നേരം മുക്കിവെച്ച് നടുന്നത് പെട്ടെന്ന് വേരിറങ്ങാന്‍ സഹായിക്കും. 

(ആപ്പിള്‍ വിനാഗിരി ഉപയോഗിച്ചും സിനിമോൻ സ്റ്റിക് പൗഡർ ( കറുവ പട്ട പൊടി ) ഉപയോഗിച്ചും ഹോർമോൺ ഉണ്ടാക്കാം തൽക്കാലം അതിന്റെ ആവശ്യം വരുന്നില്ല കാരണം മുകളില്‍ വിവരിച്ചവ വളരെ ഗുണമേന്മയും ലളിതവുമാണ് )

കടുത്ത വേനലില്‍ നടാനായി കമ്പ് മുറിക്കരുത്. നേര്‍ത്ത കമ്പാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ അരയടി നീളത്തിലും മൂത്തകമ്പാണെങ്കില്‍ ഒരടി നീളത്തിലുമുള്ള തണ്ട് മുറിച്ചെടുക്കാം. നേര്‍ത്ത കമ്പിലെ പകുതിയിലധികം ഇലകളും നീക്കം ചെയ്തതിനുശേഷമാണ് നടേണ്ടത്. മൂത്ത കമ്പില്‍നിന്നും മുഴുവന്‍ ഇലകളും നീക്കംചെയ്യണം. നടാനെടുക്കുന്ന തണ്ടുകളുടെ അടിവശം മൂര്‍ച്ചയുള്ള കത്തികൊണ്ട് ചെരിച്ച് മുറിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നതാണ് ആദ്യഘട്ടം. അതിനുശേഷം ഈ കമ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വള്ളി 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് മുക്കിവെച്ച ശേഷം ഒരു കപ്പിൽ നനച്ച് നിറച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നടീല്‍ മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ നടണം ( മണ്ണും മണലും ചാണകപ്പൊടിയും ഒരേ അനുപാതത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ത്ത പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതം ). കമ്പ് നട്ടുവെച്ച കപ്പ് ഒരു ക്ലിയർ പോളിത്തീന്‍ ബാഗ്കൊണ്ട് കവർചെയ്യണം (തെളിഞ്ഞ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്‌ കൂട്) 

18 സെന്റീമീറ്റര്‍ ഉയരവും 12 സെന്റീമീറ്റര്‍ വീതിയുമുള്ള പോളിത്തീന്‍ സഞ്ചികളാണ് സാധാരണഗതിയില്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടത്. കവറിന്റെ താഴത്തെ പകുതിയില്‍ 15 മുതല്‍ 20 വരെ സുഷിരങ്ങളിടണം. ഇത് അധികം സൂര്യ പ്രകാശം ഏല്‍ക്കാതെ സിറ്റൗട്ടിലോ റൂമിനുള്ളിൽ ജനലരികിലോ വെക്കണം 

വേരുറയ്ക്കുന്നതുവരെ പരിപാലിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ കമ്പില്‍നിന്ന് വെള്ളം വാര്‍ന്ന് ഉണങ്ങാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയേറെയാണ്. മണ്ണും മണലും ചാണകപ്പൊടിയും ഒരേ അനുപാതത്തില്‍ കലര്‍ത്തി പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതം തയ്യാറാക്കാം. ചകിരിച്ചോറ് കമ്പോസ്റ്റും വെര്‍മിക്കുലൈറ്റും വേര് കുമിളെന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്ന മൈക്കോഡൈയും പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നത് ഏറെ നന്ന്. മണ്ണില്‍ നനവുണ്ടായാല്‍ മാത്രം പോരാ, ചുറ്റുപാടും ആര്‍ദ്രത കൂടിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലേ വേഗം വേര് പിടിക്കൂ..

അരിച്ചിറങ്ങുന്ന വെയിലാണ് വേരുപിടിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നല്ലത്. നേര്‍ത്ത പാളിയായി ലഭിക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം വേരുപിടിക്കലിന്റെ സാധ്യതയേറ്റും.

തണ്ടിന്റെ ഒരു മുട്ട് പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതത്തിനടിയില്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താം.പുതിയ ഇലകള്‍ വിരിഞ്ഞുവരുന്നത് വേരിറങ്ങുന്നതിന്റെ ലക്ഷണമാണ്. വേര് ഇറങ്ങിയ തൈ ഇളകാതെ മാറ്റി നടാം.

Funny Story - HR Manager, his Assistant, an old woman and her young daughter traveling in a train

A HR Manager, his Assistant, an old woman and her young daughter are traveling in a train and during the course of time get themselves introduced to each other and become temporary friends.

The train goes through a tunnel and it gets completely dark.

Suddenly there is a kissing sound and then a slap.

The train comes out of the tunnel.

The women and the Assistant are sitting there looking perplexed.

The Manager is bending over holding his face, which is red from an apparent slap.

The agent looked at the list and said Yes! She was here sometime back.
