My Dad always *sounds* it in my ears "Simi, you must be *tough.* Being *girlish* and being *ladylike* is not an excuse for *weakness".* This he still says to all of us.
All the children were *raised* to do the *"masculine"* as well as the *"feminine"* tasks.
My sisters and I started *winding* a 15KVA generator as soon as we got one. I *learnt* how to wash a *car* (internal and external) before the *age of 16*.
I started *learning driving* immediately after *secondary* school. My Dad told me that before he allows me drive out *independently,* that I must learn to change *car tyres.*
I remember I was forming *ajebutter* and my Dad said to me "If you are *driving* on a lonely *highway* and you need to change your *tyre*, what would you do? You will have to get down and change it.... that's the *common sense* thing to do. It's a *survival skill* for drivers.
*My brother?*
He started *washing* the dishes as soon as he could reach the sink and *handle* the dishes.
He started cooking *simple meals* before the *age of 10.* He started *washing* his socks and under wears before the *age of 7.*
He started *handling his laundry* before the *age of 11*, when he had to go to *boarding* school.
In my house, the rule was (still is) that *anyone who eats* must be able to get *involved in the kitchen*, when required.
My father tells me I can be *president,* not *first lady.* There is nothing wrong with being a first lady, but there's also nothing wrong with being the *husband* of the president.
Thus, if you tell your *son* that he can be president, you should also tell your *daughter* that she can be president.
The *hidden but significant psychology* behind this is that telling your daughter that she can be president pushes her to be *great,*

രണ്ട് ടീസ്‌പൂണ്‍ ശുദ്ധമായ തേൻ ഒരു കപ്പ് വെള്ളത്തില്‍കലക്കി കുപ്പിയിൽ ഒഴിച്ച് അടപ്പ് നന്നായി മുറുക്കി അടച്ച് കറുത്ത തുണികൊണ്ട് മൂടി അധികം ചൂടോ പ്രകാശമോ പതിക്കാത്തിടത്ത് രണ്ടാഴ്ച വെച്ചാൽ അത് നല്ലൊരു റൂട്ട് ഹോർമോണായി മാറും .തയാറാക്കിയ ഈ മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ കിളിർപ്പിക്കുവാനുള്ള കമ്പോ വള്ളിയോ 20 -30 മിനിറ്റ് ഇട്ടു വെക്കാം അതിനുശേഷം മാറ്റി നടാം. (തേൻ നേരിട്ട് കമ്പിൽ പുരട്ടിയും നടും)
( 2) കരിക്കിന്‍ വെള്ളം -പച്ചച്ചാണകം :-
ഒരു ഗ്ളാസ് കരിക്കിന്‍ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ അഞ്ച് ടീസ്‌പൂണ്‍ പച്ചചാണകം കലക്കിവെച്ച് തെളിനീർ ഊറ്റിയെടുത്തത് അതിൽ നടാനുള്ള കമ്പോ വള്ളിയോ 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് മുക്കിവെച്ച ശേഷം മാറ്റി നടാം.
(3 )മുരിങ്ങ ഇല സത്ത് :-
അമ്പത് ഗ്രാം മുരിങ്ങയില ഇരുന്നൂറ് മില്ലി വെള്ളത്തില്‍ തലേദിവസം കുതിര്‍ക്കണം . പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്തോ അരച്ചെടുേത്താ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന മുരിങ്ങാച്ചാറില്‍ കമ്പിന്റെ അഗ്രം 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് നേരം മുക്കിവെച്ച് നടുന്നത് പെട്ടെന്ന് വേരിറങ്ങാന്‍ സഹായിക്കും.
(ആപ്പിള്‍ വിനാഗിരി ഉപയോഗിച്ചും സിനിമോൻ സ്റ്റിക് പൗഡർ ( കറുവ പട്ട പൊടി ) ഉപയോഗിച്ചും ഹോർമോൺ ഉണ്ടാക്കാം തൽക്കാലം അതിന്റെ ആവശ്യം വരുന്നില്ല കാരണം മുകളില്‍ വിവരിച്ചവ വളരെ ഗുണമേന്മയും ലളിതവുമാണ് )
കടുത്ത വേനലില്‍ നടാനായി കമ്പ് മുറിക്കരുത്. നേര്‍ത്ത കമ്പാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ അരയടി നീളത്തിലും മൂത്തകമ്പാണെങ്കില്‍ ഒരടി നീളത്തിലുമുള്ള തണ്ട് മുറിച്ചെടുക്കാം. നേര്‍ത്ത കമ്പിലെ പകുതിയിലധികം ഇലകളും നീക്കം ചെയ്തതിനുശേഷമാണ് നടേണ്ടത്. മൂത്ത കമ്പില്‍നിന്നും മുഴുവന്‍ ഇലകളും നീക്കംചെയ്യണം. നടാനെടുക്കുന്ന തണ്ടുകളുടെ അടിവശം മൂര്‍ച്ചയുള്ള കത്തികൊണ്ട് ചെരിച്ച് മുറിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നതാണ് ആദ്യഘട്ടം. അതിനുശേഷം ഈ കമ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വള്ളി 20-30 മിനിറ്റ് മുക്കിവെച്ച ശേഷം ഒരു കപ്പിൽ നനച്ച് നിറച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നടീല്‍ മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ നടണം ( മണ്ണും മണലും ചാണകപ്പൊടിയും ഒരേ അനുപാതത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ത്ത പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതം ). കമ്പ് നട്ടുവെച്ച കപ്പ് ഒരു ക്ലിയർ പോളിത്തീന്‍ ബാഗ്കൊണ്ട് കവർചെയ്യണം (തെളിഞ്ഞ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്‌ കൂട്)
18 സെന്റീമീറ്റര്‍ ഉയരവും 12 സെന്റീമീറ്റര്‍ വീതിയുമുള്ള പോളിത്തീന്‍ സഞ്ചികളാണ് സാധാരണഗതിയില്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടത്. കവറിന്റെ താഴത്തെ പകുതിയില്‍ 15 മുതല്‍ 20 വരെ സുഷിരങ്ങളിടണം. ഇത് അധികം സൂര്യ പ്രകാശം ഏല്‍ക്കാതെ സിറ്റൗട്ടിലോ റൂമിനുള്ളിൽ ജനലരികിലോ വെക്കണം
വേരുറയ്ക്കുന്നതുവരെ പരിപാലിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ കമ്പില്‍നിന്ന് വെള്ളം വാര്‍ന്ന് ഉണങ്ങാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയേറെയാണ്. മണ്ണും മണലും ചാണകപ്പൊടിയും ഒരേ അനുപാതത്തില്‍ കലര്‍ത്തി പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതം തയ്യാറാക്കാം. ചകിരിച്ചോറ് കമ്പോസ്റ്റും വെര്‍മിക്കുലൈറ്റും വേര് കുമിളെന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്ന മൈക്കോഡൈയും പോട്ടിങ് മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നത് ഏറെ നന്ന്. മണ്ണില്‍ നനവുണ്ടായാല്‍ മാത്രം പോരാ, ചുറ്റുപാടും ആര്‍ദ്രത കൂടിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലേ വേഗം വേര് പിടിക്കൂ..

A HR Manager, his Assistant, an old woman and her young daughter are traveling in a train and during the course of time get themselves introduced to each other and become temporary friends.

കണ്ടക്ടർ എന്ന നിലയിൽ ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കിടയിൽ നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വിഷമമുള്ള ഒരു കാര്യമാണ് സ്ത്രീകളുടെ സംവരണ സീറ്റുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്.ദീർഘദൂര സർവീസുകളിൽ [FP ,SFP, തുടങ്ങിയ ] സ്ത്രീകൾക്കായി വലതുവശം മുൻപിലായി 5 വരിയാണ് സംവരണം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. ബസ് എവിടെ നിന്നാണോ പുറപ്പെടുന്നത് അവിടെ നിന്നു മാത്രമാണ് സംവരണം അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അഭാവത്തിൽ ഡ്രൈവർ സീറ്റിന് പിറകിലായുളള ഒരു വരി [3 സീറ്റ്] ഒഴികെ ബാക്കിയുള്ള 4 വരികളും പുരുഷന്മാർക്ക് അനുവദിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.ഈ സീറ്റുകൾ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കു മുൻഗണന മാത്രമാണുള്ളത്. യാത്രയുടെ ഇടയിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ കയറിയാൽ മുൻഗണനാ സീറ്റിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷ യാത്രക്കാരെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കാൻ പാടില്ല. ടി പുരുഷൻമാർ ഇടയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുകയാണെങ്കിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീ യാത്രക്കാരിക്കാണ് ആ സീറ്റിന് മുൻഗണന. ഇറങ്ങി കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് മുൻഗണന. [ അടുത്ത പന്തിയിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കു മുൻഗണന എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ, ഉണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ആളെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചു സീറ്റ് നൽകില്ലല്ലോ. ഉണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് മുൻഗണന ]. മറ്റൊന്ന് കൂടി പറയട്ടേ. കോടതി ഉത്തരവു പ്രകാരം ദീർഘദൂര സർവീസുകളിൽ യാത്രക്കാരെ നിർത്തി കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ പാടില്ല. പിന്നെ എങ്ങിനെ ടിക്കറ്റ് നൽകിയ ഒരു യാത്രക്കാരന്നെ ഇടയിൽ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കും. അത് കുറ്റകരമല്ലേ. യാത്രയ്ക്കിടയിൽ കയറുന്ന ആൾ നിന്നു യാത്ര ചെയ്യാൻ തയ്യാറാണെന്ന് കണ്ടക്ടറോട് സമ്മതിക്കണം. അതിന് ശേഷം ടിക്കറ്റ് നൽകുക. ഇത്രയും വിവരം KSRTControl room നൽകിയതാണ്. Phone No: 0471 2463799. ഈ നിയമം എല്ലാവരും പാലിക്കുന്നില്ല. പലർക്കും അറിയില്ല എന്നതാണ് സത്യം. യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് ഇത് അറിയില്ല. ഈ നിയമം KSRTC യുടെ വരുമാന വർദ്ധനവിന് സഹായകരമായിട്ടാണുള്ളത്. ഉദ: TVM - EK M സർവീസിൽ രാത്രിയിൽ EKM പോകാൻ 12 യാത്രക്കാർ കൈയ്യിൽ കാശുമായി യാണ് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് കരുതുക . സ്ത്രികൾ എന്നെഴുതിയ സീറ്റുകൾ ഒഴിവുണ്ട്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും അവർ / പുരുഷന്മാർ കയറില്ല. ഇടയിൽ എഴുന്നേൽകേണ്ടി വന്നാലോ. യാത്രക്കിടയിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ കയറിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ അത്രെയും സീറ്റുകൾ നഷ്ടമല്ലേ. എല്ലാ കണ്ടക്ടർമാരും ഇത് കൃത്യമായി പാലിച്ചാൽ കുഴപ്പമില്ല.
അതുകൊണ്ടു :-
1 ) സീറ്റുകൾ മുഴുവനും occupied ആണെങ്കിൽ അതും പുരുഷന്മാർ ആണെങ്കിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുവാൻ തയ്യാറാണ് എന്ന് സമ്മതത്താൽ ആണ് പിന്നീട് കയറുന്ന സ്ത്രീകൾ
2 ) യാത്രാമധ്യേ തനിക്കു സീറ്റ് തരുവാൻ കണ്ടക്ടറോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുവാൻ സ്ത്രീക്ക് അവകാശമില്ല
